Three Things To Do This Week
A few things to keep in mind this week:
Check out the current crop of artists at Künstlerhaus Bethanien. This Thursday, artists in the International Studio Program open their doors to the public. Current work from five artists-in-residence will be featured in an exhibition called Open Studios, beginning this Thursday, March 3rd at 7 PM. Their art will continue to be shown until March 27th at Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Kottbusser Straße 10.
Civil Society 4.0 brings together refugees, volunteers, digital developers, and artists to develop strategies of digital self-organization. Topics of the open event include legal status, housing, and education. Civil Society 4.0 runs from March 3rd until March 5th at Haus der Kulturen der Welt, John-Foster Dulles-Allee 10.
"Are we doomed to repeat the mistakes of our parents?" Young director Julia Lwowksi poses this question with her current production of the ancient Greek story of Electra, the daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra, and a popular character in tragedies. The performance, Elektra, runs until March 28th at Neuköllner Oper, Karl-Marx Straße 131-133.
