A few things to keep in mind this week:
The Pierre Boulez Saal opens with a gala concert lead by Daniel Barenboim. Come for the architecture, stay for the mix of classical, 20th century, and contemporary music. It's at Französische Straße 33 D.
Contemporary circus theater Chämeleon in the Hackesche Höfe has a new show, Scotch and Soda, now up and running. It's a homage to the jazz age that sees what happens when you mix acrobatics with a big brass band from the Australian group, Company 2.
Performance legend Laurie Anderson hardly needs an introduction; she's the headliner at the Transmediale Closing Weekend. The two day program focuses on the relationship between technology and language and is sure to make your head spin. That's at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt Saturday and Sunday.
